Myron Hedderson will update the congregation about the changes in the area of AI that have occurred since his last presentation. There are so many that it will be very hard to fit it in the available time, so the focus will be the biggest-picture changes, including upheaval in OpenAI’s leadership, strategy and safety commitments, how AI capabilities have changed the international regulatory landscape and what we can vs. cannot know about what the next couple of years might be like, given what we’ve seen in the last 2 years since Chat GPT came out.
Join us at 874 York Street. Our first-floor sanctuary, kitchen, library, and washroom are accessible by wheelchair and mobility devices (please use the ramp and the side entrance) and our building is scent- and smoke-free. You can reach us by Sunday bus (we are close to the York-Montgomery stop) or park in the front of the building. Please enter the parking lot by the upper (south) driveway. Coffee and conversation is available after the service.
We also offer virtual access on Zoom. Message us for the link (which you can bookmark and use for all Sunday Services). Please note that this week we will not have our usual coffee and conversation following the service.
