SUMMER SUNDAYS and ZOOM (ICED) COFFEE HOUR

Summer Sundays: On Sunday mornings at 10:30, we’ll be doing informal services. Similar to last summer, most will be a casual circle conversation. Zoom will not be available for these summer Sundays (although see below) and there will be no service on the two long weekends. Supervised play for children will be provided during the summer as well as the coming year.

We probably all have different ideas about Life or no Life after death. Let’s explore our experiences in a circle conversation.

JULY 13: Aidan Wasilewski, Relics of Our Lives, Part Two: Photographs

A sequel to last summer’s talk, come join a circle discussion where we share our favourite photographs. What memories do they bring to mind? What about them makes them special to you? Please choose only one or two photos to ensure that everyone has time to share. If your photo exists digitally, please email it to Aidan “A” (a.wasilewski(at: replace by @)unb.ca) to be included in a PowerPoint presentation for easier viewing. Printed photos may be shown in-person.

JULY 20: Robin Millar, Summer

Join a sharing circle with Robin Millar. We’ll talk about our most significant summer: either holiday or just experiences, joyful or difficult. What is meaningful to you?

JULY 27: Jo-Anne Elder-Gomes Birthdays

Jo-Anne will do a multigenerational “birthday party,” grouping everyone by the season of their birth. Each table will have a craft or game as well as questions about the lifespan. Bring your friends; children and youth are especially welcome!

During the summer, in place of our Zoom Coffee Hour after most Sunday Services, we will be offering an informal semi-structured chat at 2 pm on the following Wednesday afternoons: July 9, 23, 30 and August 6. We may add more dates in August. 
Our Zoom (Iced) Coffee Chats will be relaxed, semi-structured chats, with an opening reading, time for Joys and Sorrows, and a question to discuss. There is no need to register; please come as you are and bring your favourite hot or cold beverage.
