On November 30, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., at 874 York or on Zoom, our Sunday Service will explore our “Covenant of Right Relationships.”
Some years ago, speaker Joan Brewer and Service Leader Sheila Moore brought their learnings from a CUC Regional Gathering hosted at the UFF to the congregation’s attention and invited Reverend Linda Thomson to engage us in the creation of our covenant.
We covenant as a congregation to follow our eight principles which represent our denominational covenant with other UU’s and the world around us. We also have a Covenant of Right Relationships. This service will be about how our Covenant of Right Relationships can deepen our bonds with one another and willingly accept responsibility for our own behaviors and our obligations to honour the other person.
All are invited to join us in person at 874 York Street or on Zoom at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday. The sanctuary in which are services take place, as well as the kitchen, library, and a washroom on the first floor, can be accessed by people using wheelchairs and mobility aids by a ramp next to the side entrance. Parking is available and the Sunday bus route takes passengers to a stop nearby (York/ Montgomery). We ask you to keep our building smoke-free and scent-free and to contribute to a safe, inclusive, welcoming congregation.
This Sunday, the children’s program topic is “Life Skills Quest.”
Children will embark on a quest to earn the Life Skills Ribbon. We’ll practice handwriting, telling time on an analog clock, and how to apologize to someone. (Principle Three).
Following the in-person and virtual service, members and friends are invited to stay for coffee and conversation. Aidan and Ollie will be staying for a bit after the service for anyone who wants to bring along a craft or knitting or crochet project. This week’s Zoom conversation will explore belonging and community.
