Lay Chaplaincy

This Sunday, May 4, is Lay Chaplain Sunday

The current Lay Chaplains, Jenn Carpenter and Decima Mitchell, will be speaking about their roles.

The Service Leader, Tony Fitzgerald, is a former Lay Chaplain and the Chair of the UFF’s Lay Chaplaincy Committee. Service Leader:
The CUC recommends that member congregations dedicate at least one Sunday a year to the CUC Lay Chaplaincy programme. This will be that Sunday. Find out what Lay Chaplains may and may not do. Perhaps you might be, as others have been, inspired to pursue this path to providing meaningful content to rituals of life for people who want something different.

For more information on the ceremonies Lay Chaplains officiate at UFF or off-site, for members and non-members of any faith background, please click on the Ceremonies tab or visit https://uff.ca/ceremonies/

The Unitarian Fellowship of Fredericton is a Welcoming Congregation, and invite people of all genders and on any spiritual or religious path or none at all to join them on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. You can also participate on Zoom.
