For the children
October 4: Thanksgiving
How do Unitarians celebrate Thanksgiving? With a Harvest Supper, of course! Children will select and rehearse a performance (song, dance, skit, etc) for the Harvest Supper on October 17th. This will be a group performance of all children and their teacher. (Principle Five)
Our in-person services take place in the Sanctuary of our spiritual home. Children sit with their families at the beginning of the service and proceed to their program upstairs after the Time for All Ages. Refreshments are served in the kitchen after the service, and then we enjoy conversation in the library or sitting area.
We strive to be a safe, inclusive space for people of all beliefs, ages, genders, classes, and abilities. Current and past members have included humanists, atheists, liberal Christians and Jews and those of other religions, pagans, and those raised in Unitarian and Universalist families. Most of us are following unique spiritual and religious paths. We would love to hear your story.
If you are able to donate, you can use an envelope if you are attending in person (please add your name and email to receive a charitable tax deduction) or send an E-transfer to treasurer@uff.ca.
