Service Leaders: Jane Loughborough, Sheila Moore, and Linda Sprague
Tech Support: Myron Hedderson
At the “Mother’s Day” service on Sunday May 11th, Linda, Sheila and Jane will be taking an intergenerational approach to the subject of mothering, nurturing relationships and the recognition of significant others in our lives.
Diversity, inclusion and equity will be the values or themes underlying the entire service. You will hear UFF members talk about a Mom, aunt, grandmother or other significant nurturing person, present or past. The “talk” might include a letter or poem or song about the person, or just some observations of their impact and importance. There will be singing and music to fill our service space. Small plants to take home will be available for each person present at the service.
Our congregation strives to be inclusive and our building is accessible to those using mobility devices and using public transit. We provide supervised play for children and refreshments after the service. If you are joining us by Zoom, please enjoy your own hot beverage or finish your breakfast while you participate in our virtual coffee hour.
