A Whole New World: Leaving Home to Start a New Life In N.B.

Our Sunday Service talk on April 27, 2025 is entitled “A Whole New World: Leaving Home to Start a New Life in N.B.”

Ashley Sprague has invited some Filipino and Nigerian who have recently settled in Fredericton to talk about their experiences.

Service Leader: Linda Sprague

Tech Support: Myron Hedderson

Please join us at 10:30 at 874 York Street (just north of Montgomery Street) or on Zoom. We strive to be a safe, inclusive, and welcoming place for people of all backgrounds, genders, and beliefs. We learn and act together to uphold every being’s worth and dignity and to dismantle colonialism and oppression. Many UUs identify as seekers, pursuing their unique spiritual paths and open to new possibilities. Others maintain connections to Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, or other communities and want to learn more about different faiths. Still others embrace Pagan, Wiccan, or Indigenous Earth-based traditions.

We invite you to come and learn more about the experiences of some of the newer members of our community in Fredericton and hear how you can help. Refreshments and conversation follows the in-person service. For those who join on Zoom, please BYOC (bring your own coffee or beverage of your choice) and stay for the after-service discussion.
